“Oh, so you’re new here? I’d love to show you around, I can do this anytime.” Farrah couldn’t hide her smile, and she jumped up from the table a little too quickly. She shook her head and stared at the carpet, trying not to seem as enthusiastic. She wanted to be careful with her first impression on Annette, and she realized it was different than all the other times she’d cared what others thought of her. Farrah felt like she really needed Annette’s approval, and her friendship. She shot another toothy smile, and slung her bag over her shoulder. “You lead the way,” she said through her smile.
Annette smiled back at Farrah, slinging her book bag back over her shoulders as she stood up. “Well, I guess you know this is the library.” She laughed, leading the other girl out into the hallway. “So, tell me about yourself. How…how was your Valentine’s Day?” Annette asked hesitantly, beginning to wonder her way to the gym. She could tell that Farrah was a little more interested in getting to know her rather than the school.
“Well, I guess you know this is the library.” Farrah giggled, brushing her hair behind her ear. “So, tell me about yourself. How…how was your Valentine’s Day?” Farrah straightened her posture, glancing around. Why is she asking about Valentine’s day? As much as Farrah wanted to find this weird, she couldn’t hide her goofy grin. “Boring, they always are,” she smirked, “and how was yours? Did you boyfriend get you anything?” she laughed, hoping it didn’t seem too obvious why she was asking.

“Oh, uh, sorry. I live down the street- I didn’t realize someone had moved in already. I’ve always just kind of come here to get away- Sorry, I’ll just go.” Farrah shook her head, rushing to catch up with the girl. “What’s the rush?” she shot a small, half-smile. “We can…
“That would be great, actually. I’m Violet, nice to meet you. How do you like California so far?” Farrah straightened her back and squinted to see the girl better. “I’m Farrah, and California’s… cool. It’s way different, but I like it,” she replied with a slight smirk playing on her lips. “Well, maybe everything except Westfield. It’s filled with bitches,” not unlike myself, ha, “Do you go there?” she walked over towards the girl, still not being able to see her well.

Farrah smiled at the suggestion and she nodded quickly. “That’d be so awesome,” she gushed, glancing back at her window where her guitar was lying next to her bed. “Really, it’s a great idea,” she laughed, thinking of the feeling of the strings under her fingers as she strummed, how proud she was of her callused fingers. She wanted to practice as much as she could so she could be better, so she could have something of her own all to herself. “We can do it whenever,” she laughed, with her smile still painted on widely.

ooc: okay, goodnight guys. i’m exhausted, and i’ll reply to angel in the morning (and whoever else hasn’t replied yet). :)
Don’t say that.
Hi Farrah… Is just that in this house… I feel… Lonely.
I know what you mean, it does that to me too.
How have you been Farrah?
I don’t know. Weird, things are good but it still doesn’t feel right. Nothing does anymore, you know? How are you, Sapphira? I haven’t talked to you much since we’ve moved, sorry about that.
I know right? Sometimes I feel like screaming about all these changes. But is for good. I’ve been dancing, entertaining myself because I feel like this house has something. I feel like someone is watching me sometimes, is cold and… I’m crazy forget about it. Let’s say that I’m doing my best to be cheerful about this whole change. What about you? Oh Don’t worry about it, shit happens anyways. ;)
No— no, you’re not crazy. It’s just hard adjusting to all the changes, I get it. Sometimes I feel like someone’s watching me too, but we’re just paranoid probably. It’ll get better, right?

Farrah was studying, or trying to at least, when she heard music coming from her backyard. She walked over to the window, and saw a girl playing her…
As Farrah read, her eyes would widen, she’d nod her head, or she’d raise her eyebrows, trying to follow along with the words sprawled out. “You play guitar?” she asked, excitedly, “I do too! Well, I mean I’m not great or anything, but—” she stammered, shrugging. “You should play something for me sometime,” she smiled, hoping maybe this would be her chance to make a friend who could help her with her guitar playing.

Farrah had just gotten home from cheerleading practice when she noticed a silhoutte in her backyard. She’d found out she was locked out of the house, and had decided to check if the backdoor was locked, and there she was, alone with a stranger. As she approached the figure,…
“We can hang out,” she said, just as boldly, then bit her tongue realizing how weird her suggestion actually sounded, “I mean, since you’re my neighbor and all, we’re gonna see eachother a lot. Why not make a friendship out of it?” she bounced, smiling wider.
